The commercial van market is rapidly changing with the new styles and van designs that are coming to market. The full size vans are now offering a range of roof heights, body lengths and various configurations to maximize storage space in the vans. The compact van market will also be rapidly changing this year with a new version of the Ford Transit Connect and Chevy City Express coming to market. “The new taller vans, like the Nissan NV, Ford Transit and RAM ProMaster, will have much more storage capacity than many of the standard size vans on the market today. Our new shelving platforms will allow customers to maximize the cargo area of those vehicles in both length and height,” according to Adrian Steel’s Marketing Manager, Todd Goldmeyer. The additional space and wider range of styles is allowing for more customization in their work vans. PTC is prepared for the industry changes and is working very close with Adrian Steel to learn the van interior changes that are affected. Adrian Steel works with the manufacturers to have interior trade packages configured for the new van styles before the vans come to market. This is helping our customers achieve the least amount of downtime for their vans.
