A letter to Company Integrity
Pacific Truck Colors holds integrity as one of our deepest values. It’s a word that’s thrown around a lot, especially in business, but not carried out nearly as often as it is claimed. It’s a word that inspires trust and establishes commitment. It means not just getting the job, but completing it on time and doing it right. If something does go wrong, it means fixing it.
Just about every person and every business appears to have integrity from the start. Rarely does a working relationship, or any kind of relationship for that matter, begin on tense terms. Integrity might be claimed by many, but we believe you can’t be sure it’s a part of your identity until you really need it. When business is tight, do you pack on billable hours and miscellaneous upsells to cover your cashflow? Or do you dip into a savings account or line of credit? Many would like to think they would not pass along difficult times to their clients, but it’s hard to say until it actually happens.
Here at PTC, we’ve gone through some challenging times, but have always done our best to maintain a high level of integrity. Because of this, we’ve developed significant relational value with many of our vendors, customers, and other partners. Within our family, we feel confident that a handshake still means something, and we hope to never forget that part of our DNA.
When it comes to integrity, we’ve put our money where our mouth is when it comes to our process for collision repair. We will take the time we need when putting together your estimate so you know ahead of time what the cost will truly be. Other companies will just quickly give this kind of job the once-over, knowing that if they quote you low and discover more work that needs to be done, you will be obligated to pay it since they’ve already started working on your vehicle and they understand it would be a huge hassle for you to bail out halfway. We don’t do that here. We also ensure that everything we fix, we fix right, and if something doesn’t get fixed we will make it right for you.
