We’ve been pretty busy lately. The phone kept ringing, and new projects were happening almost every day. But, we’re not complaining. One of the things we love most here at Pacific Truck Colors is that we never have time to get bored. Every day we come across a new challenge that allows us to demonstrate our skills and expertise. These challenges ensure that we are constantly improving ourselves and our portfolio.
The month of July fell into the same pattern. While some projects have been pretty standard, others have challenged us to think outside the box and look for new solutions.
Here’s a spotlight covering some of our favorite projects in July.
Knapheide Western Style Dump Body with Drop Down Sides
Oregon Concrete Solutions is a locally owned company that has provided concrete replacement and installation services in Portland for over eight years. They also manage a pretty large fleet of vehicles. So, when they asked us to install a Knapheide drop-side dump body on one of their trucks, we were more than happy to help.
Knapheide drop-side dump body is one of the best dump body options for light duty chassis. They are meant to move anything from sand to asphalt, and they are capable of carrying over 8.5 tons of material. Because they needed performance and durability, we also installed drop-down sides with a strong steel frame and understructure that ensures that the body will last for several years to come.
The project may sound easy, but there are a lot of different steps involved, and it takes proper concentration to getting it done right. Fortunately, Oregon Concrete Solutions was happy with the work and promised to come back for more. We are looking forward to seeing them again in our shop.
Modified Electrical Contractor
Adrian Steel is one of our favorite vendors for Cargo Management Solutions. They have built a strong reputation in meeting the needs of both small and large businesses and pride themselves as a trusted electrical contractor. So, when they came to us to modify their Electrical Contractor Package – ProMaster 159”, we were ready to perform our best. Our plan was straightforward: to maximize the available space while providing an efficient storage solution for their equipment.
We started by installing a drop-down ladder rack. We also make sure to set up a 10-inch aluminum conduit carrier to keep long tools safe, clean, and secure. We also installed a deck grip on cargo area floor to ensure protection and durability.
It was a tough project, but we were able to complete it to perfection. Thanks to Adrian Steel for this amazing opportunity.
Platt Paintjob
Platt is a local company that sells electric supplies. Recently, they drove in a Ford Transit 350 for a paint job and graphic work.
We painted the van green and installed a large logo on the sides and some smaller ones on the doors. The web address and phone number come out bright with the green body serving. The transformation was pretty amazing, and Platt was more than satisfied with the job.
We had a busy and exciting July. We are looking forward to new projects in the months to come. If you are interested in a paint job or car customization, don’t hesitate to contact us. We have the skills and expertise to turn your ideas into reality.
